Research-Based Support for National Park Management

Welcome to the National Parks Research Center at the University of British Columbia (UBC-NPRC)

We study national park systems all over the world in order to contribute to a growing body of knowledge on protected areas. Through our various projects, our team investigates how to best manage a coherent system of protected areas to secure biodiversity and ecosystems services well into the future.
